What is phishing and how could it affect me?
Phishing is the name given to the practice of sending emails at random claiming to come from a genuine company operating on the Internet. It is an attempt to trick people into disclosing information to a bogus website operated by fraudsters. Once these criminals have your personal information or login details they can conduct a number of different types of fraud, including identity theft.
